The Vermont Sports Gear Exchange is a beta site intended for the sale of gently used sports equipment in the New England region. It has been created as an auction site with the opportunity to list items for outright sale by including the "Buy Out" selection as an option when listing your items for sale.

This site has been created independently of our www.vtsports.com site and it requires that users wanting to participate as sellers or buyers on the site create new user names and passwords for gear.vtsports.com. Visitors to either site can choose membership in either one or both, but membership in each site is mutually exclusive. Membership is not required in order to browse the site.

Our plan is to create a regional marketplace in which buyers and sellers can meet, communicate, and transact their business with people who have an affinity for outdoor fitness, recreation, and adventure in Vermont. Likeminded people with likeminded interests usually have information and ideas to share - perhaps with the Vermont Sports Gear Exchange, those same likeminded users of our service can grow the marketplace for gear and equipment that is useful, in relatively good condition, and attainable at a reasonable price.

Furthermore, our regional focus will create an atmosphere that allows easier pick-up, drop-off, shipping, and exchange of products between sellers and buyers.
